[color=blue:c789ab918d][/color:c789ab918d]Mark, a few years ago you had given me the name/number of a guy who worked on IH tractors. Can't find his info, could you share that w/me again. Also, are you taking anything to the Red Power Round Up in Madison next year? Thanks for your time.

Al, Sorry, but you`ll have to refresh my memory a little. Whereabouts are you located again? I know a few really good IH mechanics, but can`t remember which one I told you to call. As for the Red Power, I most certainly will take something down.I am a member of IH Collectors Chapter #4(host chapter) and just handed the treasurers job over to Fred Schnell .I will also be busy working at the Red Power, but I`m only 100 miles from Madison, so not too far to haul some goodies. If the fuel prices stay the way they are now, I may take couple loads of some of my Super C fast hitch implement collection.I have a few somewhat rare pieces(FH hay rake that made the Red Power magazine cover a few years back)A friend of mine has alot of FH stuff too and we`re thinking of having a big display. I think it would go over well down there.Otherwise I may take my low houred Farmall 240(565 hours) or my Farmall 404.

This fellow lives out in the country off of a county trunk road, seems to me in SE Wisc. He has a really well maintained place (older barn, pull into his place and the house is on the right and barn is just beyond on the left) and his wife sure has a green thumb. Me, near La Crosse. I simply can't put any more information at your finger tips, wish I could, but I am drawing a blank. Maybe this fellow has a step van for a service truck, but I can't recall for sure. I had talked to you about him when I had a 240U w/hydra-touch problems, so it was three years and a few months ago. I can't even remember where you are at. Let me think...what did I have for breakfast today; did I have breakfast...The phone company is going to pick a new emergency number to replace 911 as most Norwegians can't find ELEVEN on the dial.

Al, maybe your thinking of Aaron Gettelman from Ixonia, which is near Oconomowoc.Let me know if you want his number. He`s a real good IH mechanic.By the way, I live near Appleton. Mark
