C282 combine engine Swap To 460 Gasser

I recently purchased a C282 engine out of a 503 combine and after rebuilding it I am going to install it in a 460 gas tractor. Does anyone know what the oil filter housing change from the combine to the tractor involve? are the bypass ports the same?

we put a 301d from a 715 into our 560.
there was nothing to change on the oil
filter housing. at least i don't recall
changing anything. it's nice to have
a spin on oil filter.

I think on the gas you don't have to change anything unless it has the aluminum filter base.I put a 715 301 in my 460.You will have to change the front timeing cover off the 460 engine to the 282 and use some bolts and nuts instead of studs bolts to hold the 460 rear engine plate on.

Thanks For the info Guys, I will need all the help I can get. I am already having trouble finding piston rings to fit the c282 they have been discontinued
