Clutch release sleeve

I purchased a clutch release bearing carrier for my 460 from this site, sent from A&I. Probably going to return it and get an OEM one from Case-IH that costs almost twice as much. YT charges a 20% restocking fee. The lip the bearing fits on is only about half the width of my old one (old lip has a crack in it). I am afraid that if the fingers don't make perfect contact the thing will come loose and mess up the fingers, among other things. It would occupy only about 1/4-1/2 the width of the bearing. Has anyone ever used this Chinese/etc bearing carrier?

I would also send it back with a note that it is wrong (Send a photo of both) if they charge a stocking fee for returning the inferior Wrong) part, the negative effect on sales will be hundreds of times the profit from restocking. Just having this negative content is an indicator. JimN

Thanks -- the carrier is made for more than one model, I have not checked caseih.com to see if the OEM one fits others. The A&I one has a 2nd step on it, perhaps for another bearing, the steps are simply too narrow, IMO, to hold the bearing. It may be ok, but there is too much to lose if it isn't. The release bearing that came with my rebuilt clutch (Hy Capacity) is also thicker than the step, but appears to have adequate contact. I don't remember what the original bearing looked like.
