I bought this old tractor a couple days ago, almost perfect sheet metal, fenders, everything but batt. box. Starter and generator are like new rebuilts. It's been in a shed for the last six years and has'nt run.
When I looked at it the manifold was busted bad and tappets sounded loud even over the exhaust roar. So tonight I pulled the valve cover and there's no sign of oil in there from recent years. The rockers and valve tips, along with the guides are junk. It's got good oil pressure on the gauge. Is the oil passage possibly plugged or a cam bearing spun and what lubes the cam lobes if there's no oil to the top?
This is just a nice straight old tractor, still six volt, gas tank even looks new inside and out. The good news is I don't need it, I was just trying to find a big brother for my Super C.
