Got a M parts tractor I bought this summer, dont want it to freeze or put antifreeze in (to expensive). Engine is covered in caked on oil and I cant find a water drain plug. Please help!

drain plug is located on left side of engine as viewed from drivers seat, dont forget to drain rad as well, drain plug resembles a wing nut if still original

If the wing nut is in the right side of the block you can use the engine crank as wrench to remove and replace the plug. Also when/if you replace the plugs coat them with never-seeze on the threads before replacing. Armand

If you can get to the bottom radiator hose you can pull the one end off the radiator and this will drain both the engine & radiator. You can even wash out the radiator some using a garden hose. Be sure to mix your new antifrreze 50/50 with water before installing in radiator if that provides enough protection. Hal
