I need a seat for my M. It mounts with 4 bolts. Is it the same seat for an H and A?

Hs and Ms use the same seat. There are many, both original, and accessory/optional seats sold on new tractors. Some just a tube and spring crude system, and others neat hydraulic dampened flipover seats that actually work well. Many salvage yards will have them locally, as well as Steel Wheel ranch, Steiners Tractors, and others (Ebay) with new bushings and shocks available they can also be rebuilt to new spec. You need the year and model to be kinda original. casiih.com has parts lists with pictures. JimN

The same seat pan fits the C/H/M, along with the super series. Early ones were black canvas, changed to silver canvas. Black is not available, unless you go custom made. Silver (or black) vinyl will give the best wear. Red and white are advertised. IH never used a red and white seat on the letter series.
