Hi we had a small local show today in aid of school funds. The usual stalwarts came along,

and brought heir old steamers,

I think you can just see that they are in steam at the time of taking, they were actually driven to the show. It is still legal to drive these vehicles on the road providing they meet all the rules about road tax and insurance etc, They are all in the 6 to 10 ton range. The small green engine was built about 3 miles down the road and has never left the area. Thanks for looking (there are another couple of pics that I'll try to put on the next page) MTF

Cool. When I was 10, I was given an alcohol fired steam toy for Christmas that looked just like the green roller. Except mine is driven by a spring cable around the big wheel to the flywheel. I don't think I've ever seen a pic of the real thing.
