How big of a deal is it to convert the hydralic couplings on the rear of a 966 to pioneer couplings?
Figure it would be easier to convert the tractor that to convert all my implements.

Depending on what you are doing, the little adapters may work just fine. About $15.00 each.

You can also change the internals to the couplers on the tractor. Then you can still use the locking levers on the couplers. My brothers did that on their 1066. Not sure how expensive it is. You would never know it by looking at it.

Using the adaptors is cheaper as long you don"t have anything that requires a high flow to work. If you do, change the internals, also if you change the internal its neater and they usually have built in dust covers. Lee

I know I am an IH RED guy, but my father has a JD 3020 and he uses the JD to PIONEER adapters. They have worked for 30 years, though we have never ran a large hydraulic load on it like a hydraulic motor. Mostly just cylinders. Hope this helps, even if it is GREEN information

That looks like what I need. Just need to lift cyliders and such.
