got the impulse apart on an international E4A mag just dont seem to be able to get it back together and get the impulse to work any help a diagram of what does what would be great inside there are two springs one very powerful spring and then a weaker one both are like clock springs but even with tension the impulse doesent work need a bit of help to get my head around this one nowhere as simple as the old wico

I had the same issue on my F-4 with the E4A impulse. Found out I was winding it tight enough. This is how I was able to get it tight enough.

When you put the impusle cover (the one that covers the weights) on you hook it in the first notch. Than you need someting such as a socket and ratchet to hold the nut in the center ( the manual might mention a nail here, im not certain). Holding the nut you than have to wind the impusle about halfway around to the next notch and hold it down in. Than put the retaining ring on and its back to how it should be.

Sorry if you dont quite understand what Im saying, Im sure others will chip in and some may have a mnaual and pictures.
