Hey there;
FWIW there is a IH 244 parts tractor in
the local scrap yard. The yard boss says
he "might take $600.00. I think (?)it could
be had for less, you never know. It's in
halfway good condition, 3 cyl. diesel. It's
in Malvern Ohio 44644 A&A tire 330 863 1936

The locasl airport has one they use for mowing. The city had it for years, then gave it to the airport to use. It has some weak points, but has on heck of a good engine, to take the abuse that it gets. Has a Woods 59" mower and has plenty of power. Overall not a bad tractor.
