I am restoring a 1957 Farmall 230 and the paint was to far gone to see what shade of white it was can anyone tell me what white was used? And also a place to purchase it or a number so I can have it mixed.

Thanks,

Lance.

IH 901--crosses to PPG 8665, DuPont and others can also mix it. The Cub, 130, 230, 350, 450, along with some of the wheatland tractors were the first IH tractors to use white (not including the 1950 demos). I think 901 was the first of the series of white paints. The other two whites that El Toro mentions were used on later models. So 901 is what you want. It is sort of a white/yellow/green combination, so don't be surprised when you open the can. It is supposed to be that way and looks good on the tractor.
