Andy: Thanks for the tip. Interesting old tractor and I would like to bid on it. First have to determine where in Western Montana. I live in S.E. Montana and it could be as much as 700 miles one way just to pick it up.

It hasn't run in 20 years, the exhaust is NOT covered which means the engine is STUCK. You'd have to spend the better part of a day cutting all of the iron off of it before you could even think about loading it, it is located about 300 to 1,000 miles from anywhere, and then it probably is nothing more than a pile of scrap iron. I don't like to see these old tractors go to China anymore than anyone else, but you can't save all of them.

Well, for less than $20, they may be able to salvage the good parts and sell them on Ebay. But picking it up would be a pain.

It is still worth something more than scrap iron, if it were closer to me, I'd buy it and could get it running again. I don't like to see this happen, but parts would bring good money too.
