Famall C Carb question

My "C" has a Carter Carb on it instead of the normal Zenith or Marvel Schelber. The carb has a number O-653 on it and a brass tag with 733S. I having trouble finding a rebuild kit for it. Everything I can find (Napa and my catalogs)shows that a "C" doesn't have a Carter on it just the other 2 brands. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

See if your Case IH dealer can get a kit for Carb # 354184R93. That is the Carter carb used on the C. Kit is 354918R92. This is a gas only carb. There is also a distillate/kerosene carb. Look at the diagram in the online parts catalog on www.caseih.com. You can see if yours is the same by looking at the bowl gasket, or the bowl itself and see how it compares to the diagram. You can also call Carter and Gruenewald in WI, a Case IH dealer that does a lot of mail order.
