hydro lines rotted on a farmall 400

Braze them up or replace with used. ou can use a compression fitting and insert a hydraulic hose in the bad area. There is a company that will redo the lines with your ends back to orginal but expensive and cant think of there name right now, good luck.

If there's a hydraulic shop in your area they can probably make a replacement as Mike suggested using ends off the old hose. We would silver solder fittings together if we had a foreign vehicle and no match to their fittings for fuel and hydraulic lines. It worked fine. Hal

If it is not too bad of a leak, brazing is ok for pinholes. But pinholes mean that it is thin. Was the corrosion from the inside (moisture) or outside (battery leak). Be careful brazing. I was TIG welding a hole in a small tube one time and let the puddle get a little too hot. SPLAT I filled the line up with silicon bronze filler. I would pay a little more and have a new one built, you have a good pattern, for now.

Aeroquip can make you any size braided hose with single or double braided wire depending on the pressure on your tractor's hydraulic system. Here's one I made for my garden tractor's hydraulic lift. Hal
PS: They will withstand the vibration too.

If its like the steel lines that go across the platform to the back on a 560 they have a plate that seals with o rings on the front and can"t be completely duplicated with hose. What I did was cut off the steel lines where they were still solid at the front end and welded on 3/8 by 1/2 bell reducer pipe fittings to connect hose to go to the back. Eventually I did find a good used one at a salvage yard which was good because one of my welds started leaking. Lee
