How to tell what year it is?

We found a farmall cub in a shed that belonged to family. We have no idea how to tell what year. We don't know much about it at all. we live in VA. Need some help, would like to sell it.

Should be a serial number around the steering housing on the right side. Hal
PS: May need to scrape off some grease and dirt.

You need to get the serial number and go to "Serial Numbers" on the left and find your tractor's year in the chart.
