Char-Lynn Power Steering Parts and Manuals

After I took my Power steering pump of my Super M to rebuld the seals I noticed that one of the three studs that mounts the pump onto the mounting bracket has been stripped. This Is a wierd stud with a nut stuck in the middle and I can't seem to find one anywhere. Does anybody know where I can find a new stud? and Does anybody have a manual for the pump and motor? And does anybody know of a place that might Have a Clutch pedal for a Super M. I can't seem to find one anywhere and mine had been broken in half and rewelded plus wore out of round in the shaft as to make it not worth installing a bushinng.

David, I have a parts breakdown of the unit and
it lists those 3 studs p/n 756 (Eaton pump) I am
not 100% but Eaton Corp is in Mpls and I believe
they bought out Char Lynn. Phone # 952-937-9800
Regardless it is still their pump and should be
able to help you. Chuck

Off hand I don't know where to find that stud, but I've seen quite a few of that style in use on power steering pumps used by Ford, GM, Chrysler, etc. Take that stud with you to a good NAPA or other parts store and I'd bet they could fix you right up.

Dave, I should be able to help you out with a clutch pedal, I rebuild them by installing a bushing in the pedal and then making a new shaft, sure makes them nice and tight again and not flopping all over the place. My e-mail is open. Charlie
