966 hard steering

just replaced the mcv pump in my 966. took awile to get air out by running tractor, and everything was working good. Now whenever the tractor is shut down for more than 10 min. I loose mcv pump pressure and have the let tractor run for 10 min to get preesure back, almost like something bleeds off. I have had the pump out twice, no cut or missing seals. This is killing me! Tractor has hyd. assist clutch, ta, steering and brakes running off this pump. none of these functions work so definatley pump problem. dirt in a check valve maybe?

Are you dure that there is no blowen gskt. or missing O/Rings ??? you did not loose the sump check plug and spring out of the lower right hand corner . Is the hyd. system at or above the full mark on the dipstick??? When was the last time ya replced the O/Ring on the hyd. filter coveror the gskt. under the the hyd filter plate .Did you check pressure on the MCV system ??? Did ya rebuld the MCv with a new seal and spring kit.????

take out the plug to the orfice on back side of mcv valve start tractor and run till oil comes out this will bleed air from system if this doesn't work your flow divider valve may be stuck
