Cub colors

I have a Cub Ser.# 192269,which shows to be a 1955 model. I am ready to paint now and need to know what color the grille should be--red or white-- I have seen 1955s with a red grille but mine has a white one on it. The tractor has been repainted before I got it and I just want to get the colors back correct. Thanks

I have had the same problem, and somewhere in the archives of this forum someone did reply to a similar question that I had and the person did have the serial number when the white grill and hood insert started in Nov of 1956. I will try to find the serial #. Darald
