arch hitch pin

Looking for a cast or forged arch hitch pin (goes over swinging drawbar roller on M or H tractor). Steel welded ones are common, does anyone know where abouts of one of these forged pins?

I think, (opinion) they were fabricated. If you are talking about a strap that extends over the top of the barrel shaped roller, to ad strength to the bar. If so, a 3/4X2" inch strap could be fabricated in a welding shop with heat, or bent in a heavy break. for modest cost. I would guess 50$ or so, with you drilling the holes. JimN

I've got one that I intend to keep. TSC used to have them, many years ago, and I think our local IH outlet had them back in the 50s. Best bet is probably to fabricate one, or find one at a swap meet or farm auction.

Yes, but he wants a hard-to-find original.

As with any non-reproduction part, there is no place you can go that will have them on a shelf like a can of tomato soup at the grocery store. You gotta look around, call call call, ask ask ask.
