HELP! F-20 Foot Brakes

Hi all,
I'm having trouble getting the foot brakes installed on my '38 F-20. My F-20 had levers, and I'm switching to the foot brakes setup. I can't figure out how to get the foot brake setup to grab the brake shaft arm to turn on the brake. Hopefully you guys can understand this, I have a picture of my problem here. I bought these foot brakes on eBay a while back and it should have all the parts I need to add foot brakes to my F-20. Is something missing? Or what am I doing wrong? If someone can help me with this, I'd appreciate it!!

Thank you,
Andy.

Andy The head of the bolt in the picture is suppose to contact a arm sticking down from the brake shaft. You should have a different leaver to take the place of the one on the brake shaft in the picture. It is longer and wider with a flat side on the back for the bolt head to contact. Dave

You got screwed if thats all you have. You have to have a longer arm coming off the shaft to reach that bolt. Little know it all like yourself that likes to pick on harlen ------- should have knowen this. Glad to see you get screwed. Or I could post like you do to most people. GO TO THE LEFT AND USE THE WANTED ADDS.

What are you talking about? I do not like to pick on anyone. I just asked him once why he parts out restored tractors. I mentioned nothing about ------ ------ in my question here so there is no need to talk about that.

WOW! So share the post(s) that upset you so much. I have found Andy to be nothing but pleasant and helpful on this site. And that goes for his father also. Bought many F-20 parts from him and never got screwed. In fact I have found them to go out of their way to help people.

I do not know about the rest of this community, but I find Andy to be friendly and knowledgable. I do not know about the situation with Harlen -------, but I do know it did not belong in this post. If I were Andy I would report SEMNTractor to the moderator. Keep your head up guy.
