A friend had a so-called "IH carb EXPERT" OH his "M" carb.

I got to figure out why it wouldn't run well, and leaked gas. The load adjust needle packing and the air bleed jet were missing. 3183 pennies later all is well!

For $35 the "expert" could have purchased a rebuild kit with those two parts included.

If those are Case-IH prices, they are not out of line, for Case-IH anyway.

It seems everytime I go to a CNH dealer I get relieved of at least $70.00. Most of the times the parts will fit in a shirt pocket.

I'm paying $20 for 4 rubber gaskets ($5 each) or shims that fit on the tapered bolt shaft under the bolt heads that attach the hyd pump to the outside cover on my 460. Sort of like ten cent o-rings, except that o-rings don't work. I do not know if there is another source, these are not common items. At least I can get them and hopefully eliminate the puddle of oil.

What brand of carb kit includes them? We found out A&I DOES NOT.

No A&I does not have those parts in their kits. I have the kits that do.
