After 14 months and a lot of repair. I fired up the A today. Runs great and I have oil pressure!!!I still do not think I have good throttle control.I have been tinkering with the high idle, turning the bumper spring out. It just does not seem to throttle up high enough, no load. Any suggestions?

Look to the Linkage adjustment/synchronizing in the search for archives, many details there. Then use a strobe tach, or shaft tach, or dwell/tach to determine RPM. JimN

Got it! tried everything per the manual with no luck! Then tried the reverse, throttle at idle, gov. and carb-link moved forward, pin slides in. Then I got throttle up, and idle. Now just to fine tune it. Seems the manual setup would work, assuming the high idle stop was close to where it should be. Test drove got some crud in the carb, applied full choke and sucked it out. I'm good to go.

Thanks, to all.
