bull pinion bearing cage H

question on installing the left hand bull pinion bearing cage, when i install it do i just use the bolts to pull it in or do i have to use a different method? also when it comes up to the bearing will there be some resistance. thanks

There should not be much resistance when the bearing cage goes over the bearing. It should pretty much slide together. When I replaced the differential in my H it was apart and together several times to get the shimming right.

Can you check the ID and OD ? Do you have a burr somewhere ?
