Hi all,
Finally got a day without any rain today, so I got to work on my '38 F-20 some more. I'm going to try starting it tommorrow, did not get to tonight because it was dark and I did not have any gas for the tractor. It has the old IH F-4 mag on it. Where should the advance lever be set to start it and run it??

Thanks,
Andy

Depends upon who timed it! Assuming it's timed right [or what I call right anyway], I like it a little late [F4 - I think has a dot at 1/3 of the way down] when I turn the crank, as I don't want broken bones. I never wrap my thumbs around the crank either, but perhaps am paranoid.
