stuck brakes on M

Hi We loosened the brake adjusting screws and exercised the peddel, which freedup the brake, so were able to pull tractor, but it is still stuck. so will let it sit several weeks full of automatic trans fluid. Thanks for the advice Dave K

try using brake fluid. It will eat the rust. I have had good results with it.

Put it in 5th gear, clutch out. Jack the rear tires off the ground, and place them on 6X6" blocking so that it is trying to roll off forward. (so the tire is almost touching the ground under the blocks). this puts substantial strain on the flywheel in the normal direction, and can be advantageous. (It also can't go very far if it does move. JimN
