i bought a fast hitch assembly to put on my cub, but the mounting brackets wont match up to my bolt patterns on my wheel housing unless they are upside down, making the u shaped bar that goes under the belly hit my trans housing. i also noticed that the entire assy is not as big as most fast hitches that ive seen on most cub pics, making me wonder if they made a smaller version for cub lowboys, and maybe thats what ive got...can anyone help me out on this? i would appreciate any info on this...

If you go to cub.com there is a section that has photos of the fast hitch and how it mounts.

The photos maybe in wuth the plows , disc etc etc , you will have to look.

I took my fast hitch off and stripped everypart so when it came time to reassemble the photos were the ticket.

It took a little searching to find them but there, there.

cub.com has nothing to do with Farmall Cubs. The official website is farmallcub.com.

Actually, tmtractorDOTcom is the place to go for detail pictures of the fast hitch. They've got lots of pictures and scans of brochures for all manner of Cub implements. Interesting reading.

If the brackets won't go on unless they're flipped upside down, flip the entire hitch assembly over.

The rockshaft (part that lifts the hitch) on the Loboy fast hitch is separate from the bail (u-shaped bar that goes under the tractor). It bolts to the operator platform and top of the transmission housing.

If both the rockshaft and bail are connected to the same casting, then you have the correct hitch.
