Update on S.E. Montana storm

So much for a storm of "historic proportions". Turned out to be a very ordinary early fall storm. Total of about 18 inches of snow, 12 inches last night, very little wind, and power out only about 5 hours. Storm was much worse west of us. Didn't even have to plow. Really messed up the first day of antelope hunting season.

Local TV station weather dept calls themselves Storm Central, no matter what the weather they always make it sound threatning like This is Storm Central, Rain Moving into the area tune into storm central for updates, then after 5 comercials they tell you that scattered showers are expected Wed. afternoon. Better safe than sorry I guess. I dont like to see heavy snows early in the fall or late in the spring when leaves are on the trees, causes lots of damage, and spending all day with a chain saw cleaning up is no fun either. Good thing you lucked out.

I'm headin' to Montana to shoot some speed goats next year hopefully. When we were up in Lewistown this summer, they were all over living creation. I figured it wouldn't hurt to stretch the legs on the Remington .280.
