H waterpump leak??????????????/

I shut the tractor off and when I came back from lunch I noticed a wet spot on the frame. Anti freeze had trickled down one of the fan blades an ran onto the frame. It wasn't much just enough to leave a wet spot. Would this be from the water pump or the seals on the shaft?

You can try to make it seal by tightening down the brass nut on the top end of the pump. That will compress the rope packing around the shaft. If that doesn"t work you need to replace or rebuild. Good Luck

Or replace or add to the packing -- not much to those.

why don't you grease it and see if that helps?
