Would someone please do me a favor? I need to take the gas tank off my M to get the rust out of the bottom of it. I plan to swirl kerosene and sand in the bottom of it to scour it. Then, I plan to coat the inside of the tank. While the tank is off the tractor, I hope to get something welded to the tank corners to secure the hood J hooks. It appears as if there is no place to secure the back of the hood right now. I don"t know how this is supposed to look.
First, am I right in thinking there is something at the front corners of the tank with which to secure the hood, and next, what does that something look like?
