Super A distributor

Of course you can!

Change the switch/wiring though, as you will let all the smoke out of the mag if you feed battery power into it's "kill terminal".

Yes you can they are the same. I have taken off Bs and put on Hs just make sure you go by manual on getting it back in time. Good luck

You can do that, but you need to see where the rotor is pointing on the distributor before removing it, then don't move the engine. Rotate the rotor on the mag to the same postition where the distrbutor's rotor was pointing. It would be better to make a sketch as to where it was pointing before pulling it. You will need copper plug wires with a mag. Make a note of how the plug wires are connected on the cap, should be like this: Hal
2-1 CW
4-3

Bob's comment is very important, A Mag needs a switch that grounds when shutting it off, a distributor sw is open when shut off.
One can ground one terminal on the original switch, removing the wire from the amp meter of course, to make the old switch into a grounding switch, but it will stop when out, and run when in. A SPST toggle sw, or on off key sw with one terminal grounded will work. JimN

If you tractor has hi-dome pistons it may not start a the hi-dome need advance to start and the mag starts on TDC and there is no way to advance a mag.
