Is there a place that will tell what motor will exchange with other tractors ??? I am curious as to what will will fit in a Super C.I believe that the 135 out of a I H 330 will interchange and maybe 340,404.Also the motor out of 444 and 504 may interchange.Of course this is all hear say and maybe.I do know a 135 from a stationary power plant will work but has a few different things that has to be dealt with.Any info will be gladly add to the notes I have started.

Dale: If the C-135 comes from a 404 it will a direct bolt up. You may have to make minor modifications to fan and shroud as well as air breather hook up.

If the C-135 comes from a 330 or 340, you will have to add drilling hole in end of crankshaft for Super C pilot bushing.

I doubt if you can use C-153 from a 444, the exterior of that block is cast to fit British designed tractors. The C-153 from a 504 will need all of the above, plus you have to change engine front cover.

The c-153 out of a 504 (at least the rowcrop version, don"t know about the utilities) will not bolt into the super C. The bolt pattern at the bell housing is completely different and appears to be the same as an H bolt pattern. There are some c-153 engines out of swathers, combines etc. that have the correct bell housing pattern to bolt to the Super C. They do require some work in other areas such as pilot bearing, fan water plumbing etc.
