hey jim, wanted to give ya a big thank you!!!! h is charging finally. from your last post, i checked the armature post with a dvom and couple businees cards under the brushed, dead short. turns out the bracket that holds the brush where the post goes thru the case was missing some insulation. when the wire was attached and tightened down it shorted to the case. thats why it tested good at the shop, but on the tractor it wouldnt charge. heres a couple pics

Thanks for the kind words. There is clear evidence in every electrical issue, it just takes experience to piece it to together. I shot my first deer yesterday evening, so it is all good. Jim
