That was a very common problem with those engines. You might try to do a web search for Zimmermans in Versailles Missouri he might have one on hand. I know when I had a TD-6 thats where I got parts.

i have a complete running d248 engine for $1500 it starts on gas good and switches over and runs good with no trouble
where u located i am in mn
