I just bought a super mta and was wondering how many years they were made and how many were made. thanks

1954 is the only year the Super MTA was built. As Mike said, somewhere around 26,000 were made.

WRONG! there were only 2,600 made, one to many digits, if there were that many made I would have one.

You may be right but every list I have seen puts SMTA production in 26,000 unit range. There were about 50,000 SMs built in 1952/1953 and about 40,000 400s built in 1955/1956 so 2600 units in 1954 does not sound right.
