Reverse idler gear shaft for a C

Does anyone on the forum have a reverse idler gear shaft they would sell? Sometime in the past someone has replaced mine with one that has a larger hole for the retaining bolt to go through, allowing the shaft to move fore and aft and also turn back and forth. This is for a C. Thanks.

you could try reducing the diameter of the hole by pressing a small pipe or tube into the hole, or even a rod and then just drill out to the correct size hole that you need.

Handyman: Thanks for the response. I have already done what you suggested, reducing the hole size with pipe, but the shaft also has several rather severe pitted areas. Before I button up the transmission I was hoping to replace the shaft with a better one.
