Those air intake pre-cleaners were manufactured by the Donaldson company. The same company that manufactured the rest of the air cleaner. The plastic bowl style was offered as a replacement on the aftermarket, but I'm pretty sure that it was also installed as standard equipment or at least it was a factory option

The Donaldson company made the air cleaner systems that were and ARE still being used by just about every major farm equipment maker from probably the 1930s up to present.

It wasn't standard, the cap without the jar was standard, but it was an option.
