farmall h valve guide seals

where can i locate umbrella valve guide seals for a 42 farmall h. thanks, pg

why would you want them. they never had any.

NAPA has them, they are generic. Do it they are a good Idea even though IH and others didn't use them does not mean they aren't appropriate to limit oil consumption. JimN

I installed those umbrella seals in my Farmall A and it made a hell of a difference. I got them at napa. I posted it a few weeks back. Look up "farmall A valve seal" You will find the part number there.

I don't use them on gas tractors that are worked. I like a little oil in the guides to help keep the wear down. If the guides and valves are in spec you will burn very little to no oil. IH never saw the need to install them either. I guess they would patch worn guides on a tractor that gets little use tho.
