I/H Power Unit

I am back again. I found a couple I/H power units suitable to get me a good engine built. These units have the 4 cylinder continental engine in it. The power take off has several setups. Transmission and Clutch, Direct take off with no clutch. AND, direct take off with a hand operated clutch to either engage or disengage the matching PTO shaft. I want to end up with a unit that I can put a pulley on the PTO shaft and engage and disengage the clutch by hand.

I have seen a unit somewhere that had a starter on it. To do that, one has to have the bell housing and the flywheel to match along with the starter.

So, here is what I am fising for:

1. A source for the clutch and PTO shaft on the end of it that will bolt up to the bell housing that is on it.

2. And, Possibly, a different Bell housing for a starter with matching flywheel that bolts up all of #1.

I would e happy with #1 and estatic if I could find all of #2,

Anyone got any suggestions?

I think the starter models were the Aand B engines as i have never seen a CONT with a starter. I have the assy that was used on the combine which would be a clutch and angle pulley.

Put a flex plate from an Auto trand GM car on the belt pulley and arrange a mount for the starter motor rigid enough to assure it does not move in relation to the gear. JimN
