tonight I found a puddle under my 350 in the sand. I thought it was oil but I smelled it and it was gas, what could the problem be? when I bought it the carb was boiled and rebuilt, it has never leaked like this before, thanks for any insight.

Float could be sticking and or you may have some dirt in the float needle seat area. But the thing is you should ALWAYS turn off the gas when you park one for the day because its a common problem to have a small leak like that and that leak can end up costing you an engine because when they leak like that gas can/will get into the oil and then if you run it that can mean a rod or main bearing going out. I would be sure to check the oil and make sure it not over full and does not smell like gas. If its over full or smells of gas change it before you run it or it could cost you big $$ to fix
