HELP SMD KNOCK

Have SMD knocks only on gas side. Put new rod beaqrings in, tryed to short out knock but can't. Should have checked Mains out but didn't. Sounds like center down low, but has me baffeled only on gas side. Thanks For any help. Doug

It could be a plugged up carbon deposited spark chamber causing preignition knock on one cylinder.
Pull the plugs and look(as much as possible) inside the hole. another issue might be a stuck or broken third valve system leaving one cylinder With no compression relief. It will knock if that is the case!!! JimN
