IH 460 /560

Is the sheet metal or other parts on a 460 fit a 560 tractor? grill, side panels,hood panels,front axle?

Sheet metal will fit. Pretty much everything in front of the flywheel with the exception of crankshaft and pistons will be the same. From the flywheel back the 560 is larger.

the 460 has the same bore as 560 and 660, only a shorter stroke. and the head fits also .

The head will fit, but I'm nearly certain 560 valves are a bit bigger, so I'd be a bit hesitant using a 460 head on a 560.

Front axle will fit. Grill will fit.

But I believe the side panels and hood on a 560 are longer than the 460.

Seat will fit.

Rear wheels will not fit. The axle on the 560 is bigger.

I thought the 560 had a 6 cylinder and the 460 had a 4 cylinder
