Barn Fresh 1944 H w/ pict

I visited a a friend's barn today with my son, we found a "barn fresh" 1944 H covered in bird poop. The engine is not stuck, no freeze cracks, and the radiator is in good condition (although there is a mouse nest inside). The rear flat tires are seriously cracked and the hood is missing. What do you think would be a good starting price for a tractor in this condition?

Wow Greg! That looks like a neat find! I see a couple things I would want off it for mine! lol

I would say if you could get it hosed off, probably $500-600 would be a reasonable price for it not running, but free.

Are those the non-adjustable front wheels on it?

I gotta know... where is it? :lol:

Looks like an original dealer sticker on the front. I'd say $500 even.

He looks pretty tall, but remember that the tractor is sitting on the rims.

First think about how much all the rest of them would part that NICE H out for on e-bay...a heck of alot more than 500.00.Very nice tractor.

That H looks pretty good, will look really good when it is cleaned up. Looks like it has the dealer sticker and a set of fenders, nice. I'd say $600, but try offering $500, my Dad bought his 1944 Farmall H for $500 with stuck engine, bad transmission, bad hood and fuel tank, but it has a wide front. We got it fixed and running before long. The H's are very easy to work on.

That's my 18 year old son, he is 6' 8" tall and is wearing 2" lift boots. He likes towering over people and things.

It's a couple miles down the road from me! It has been sitting in a barn for the past 15 years with no one taking care of it. "It was running when we parked it here."

Greg, if you do get it, let me know. I'll see what I can find for you down in these parts as far as a hood and anything else you might need for it. But heck, it looks complete 'cept for the hood!
