350 U PTO Breather

I was greasing the tractor tonight and I noticed a little breather down by the PTO. The PTO doesnt have its own fluid does it? I thought everything is taken care of from the main system. I just want to make sure since I have never added fluid anywhere but under the seat.
Thanks

Yes, the PTO unit holds it's own oil. Look on the side of the unit, there are 2 plugs, one is the drain and one is the check plug. You fill the oil where the breather threads in.

Do you have the hydro pump in front of distributor? If so, power steering should be in same system as other machine hydraulics, plumbed out of control valves on right side of underseat reservoir. At least that's how my 300U with PS is setup. The two-point hitch and steering are in the same system.
