My farming partner bought this tractor new in 1969. I thought maybe we should fix her up a little for her 40th birthday next year. 7200 one owner hrs so she's just broke in good. Probably will outlast the both of us!

Mighty Fine,

Wonder what all those 2,5,10 year old tractors will be doing in another 38,35,30 years?

Nice to see an old work horse like this in that good of shape. You guys really know how to maintain your equipment.

What a beautiful tractor!! As others have said, it sure is cool to see a tractor that age all painted up (especially for normal farm use instead of pulling). That is a sweet looking machine.

MY-TE-FINE piece of art!! If it was mine , thats just what it would be (YARD ART) I dont think I could opperate it though, to busy looking at it!! GREAT JOB!!! Thanks for the eye candy...

It is not often you see a tractor of this size restored. It is MASSIVE! IH made some hellacious tractor in their prime. Nice job, it it did not require a Peterbuilt to haul, I would take it to shows.

7200 hours in 40 years? Thats only 180 hours a year - you'd have more hours if you just drove it to church on Sunday.

The 56 series tractors are special to me. This International 856 Wheatland model spent is life on a dairy farm pulling out 1400 feet of 5 inch hose and a large sprinkler. It has 6000 hours on it.

That is an awsume tractor.

I spent many hours on the seat of both an 856 and 1456, the 1456 pulling a 5 bottom plow.
