Cub Carb

I have a cub (about a 1977 model, yellow and white). I rebuilt the carb and it worked fine for about an hour. Then it went to cutting out and losing power. I tightened the manifold to carb bolts and it smooted out for about an hour then resumed missing and no power.

I am stumped, any ideas?

Don't over tighten those nuts, it will warp the carb and it will suck air. I think your problem is with the coil or condenser. When it does this again, pull the plug wires as asap and check the condition of the spark. You may soon be rebuilding your ignition system!!
