M shifting problem

A freind has an M that is infrequently used for long periods of time on his acreage. After warming up a bit pulling a spring tooth it gets progressively harder to push in the clutch pedal and shift. I told him to check the rear end oil level and beyond that I wonderred if any obvious solution would occur to the wise men here, thanks

I noticed that too.

I just blamed it on my old age. :>)

Has he been greasing the throw-out bearing and clutch linkage pivot points like he is supposed to? (See Operator's manual.) mike
