I am trying to learn what engines came in the different Farmalls.

Can you help me with my list?:

A: C-113
Super A: C-123
B: C-113
C: C-113
Super C: C-123
H: C-152
Super H: C-164
M: C-248
Super M: C-264

What tractor had the C-135 and C-153 ?

C stands for gasoline, D stands for diesel, right?

Thank you!!!!!

Super A had the C113, Super A1/Super C through the 140/240 had the C123. C135 was in the 330, 340, 404 and others. C153 was also in the 504.

Also the C135 C153 were the small block versions of the C123 bored and stroked. The Farmall H C152 and subsequent versions 300, 350 was the larger block size. 300 I believe was C169 the 350 was C175.
Go to external_link to find out what you may be missing. Not all the info there is absolutly correct, but they just updated their data reciently and it is accurate with what you are looking for.

I thought that the C-153 did not have sleeves whereas the C-113, C-123 and C-135 are all sleeved engines. The bores are 3", 3.125" and 3.25". The C-113 and C-123 have 4" stroke and the C-135 has 4.0675" stroke. All engines have a very similar appearance but cannot be the same block.

Athol: You are right about sleeves or non sleeve. The 113, 123, 135 and 153 are basically the same block design, bored differently and use a different crank and rod to achive different stroke.
