Here's my IH 424 diesel that I call my "8N" Ford on steroids" doing some fall cleanup around the farm yesterday, mowing thistles and brome higher than it's hood.

Bob;

That looks like a 6'brush hog. It would take more then an 8N on steroids to cut that stuff. Does your 424 handle it ok in that tough stuff

Good pic! If it was one of a TO30 ferggy and more trees mixed in to mow down it would be the picture of my childhood! Just watch out for yellow jackets! They are starting to get aggressive this time of year.

Yes, it has plenty of power. I was taking a full cut, running in second gear. Not sure of the mph speed, I never looked.
