I found a t340 with a 6 way blade but I don't know what it is worth it runs but the tras was tore appart and the old man that owned it passed away before putting it back together his daughter and son in law told me to make an offer how much should I offer or should I just forget about it

There is nothing very complex in the trans, but some parts might be a bit difficult to find if different than wheeled tractors. The unit has great value if the tracks and hydraulics are good (or better) If worn, the unit is worth between scrap price, and parting out at maybe 1800-2200. Many components have demand. JimN

You have to buy it by the pound. Unless you jack it up check the rollers ,measure the tracks etc. See what scrap is paying and pay that or just alittle more if it is in good shape.

Those crawler tractors are also very collectible.

A nice one sold on auction last month for about $5000.
In 2005 one in average condition sold on auction for $3250. Both were in central NE
Both had four in one buckets.
