574 IHC Hydraulic levers

I was wandering if the short 574 hydraulic levers could be replaced with the longer 584 levers.

Hi Al, had same problem on 454, so fabricated extensions out of tubing. IRC, we used 1/2 inch tubing, pulled the knob off the hydraulic levers, shaped the tubing to fit over the existing lever, formed the tubing to curve to the rear, drilled a small hole thru lever and tubing and bolted in place. Can't remember how we attached knob to top of tubing but you will find a solution.
